Abarth is an Italian car manufacturer, founded on March 31, 1949 in Bologna by the Italian-Austrian engineer Carlo Abarth and the driver Guido Scagliarini.
Born as a racing team, focused on the production of small-displacement sports cars, it owes its success above all to the eponymous mufflers, produced for the tuning of various cars of car manufacturers such as FIAT, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, SIMCA, Autobianchi and Porsche.
