Model history and curiosity
Autotecnica del Lario (ATL) was founded in 1969 by Ercole Zuccoli in Mandello del Lario on Lake Como. Coincidentally, the Moto Guzzi headquarters were also located in the same place. It focused on small series production of the then popular beach buggies on VW chassis. ATL later became known for creating unique and sporty cars with aluminum bodies based on mechanics from Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Maserati.
