Mazda Motor Corporation, known simply as Mazda, is a Japanese automobile manufacturer headquartered in Fuchū, Aki, Hiroshima Prefecture
Despite being a relatively small company, Mazda released approximately 1.3 million vehicles for the world market in 2007, the majority of which (approximately 1 million) were produced in the historic Hiroshima plants, while the remainder in plants smaller in the rest of the world. In 2011, Mazda was the eighteenth largest automobile manufacturer in the world.
