We are offering this beautiful Alfa Romeo GTV 2.0 L, the most modern version of the Alfetta from that era. The car has been completely repainted, while the leatherette interior is entirely original and in excellent condition.

It has black license plates and a second registration document with the province of PZ. It has five previous owners, the last one since 2018.

The car has been regularly inspected and is in perfect working order, ready for use.

Model history and curiosity

The main difference between the standard Alfetta GTV 2000 (produced from 1976) and the subsequent Alfetta GTV 2000 L (introduced in 1978) lies in the increased engine power, the adoption of more luxurious interior trim, and mechanical upgrades aimed at improving comfort and handling.

Upgraded engine: The standard GTV 2000 produced 122 hp. The GTV 2000 L version adopted the engine from the 2000 L sedan, boosting power to 130 hp.

Updated suspension: The rear shock absorbers on the "L" version were stiffened to make the car's handling more neutral in corners and reduce body roll.

Braking system: Improved to eliminate brake fade during heavy use.

Badging: The letter "L" was added to the model's rear badging.

Comfort and options: Air conditioning became available as an option for the first time on the GTV 2000 L.

Upholstery and trim: The "L" version's cabin was upgraded, offering the option of higher-quality velvet or more premium materials compared to the initial version.

Exterior details: The three chrome strips on the rear pillar air vent (characteristic of the 2000-series models) were retained, though with minor refinements to the plastic components and seals.
